Short and in plain language, since this is a personal site and not a service you are buying.
What this site is
A collection of personal writing by Blythe Ferraro about small, ordinary things worth doing for yourself. It is offered as it is, for reading.
Not professional advice
Nothing here is professional advice, and nothing here is a recommendation tailored to you, your home, your skin or your budget. These are one person’s notes. Anything you try, you try on your own judgement and at your own risk. Hot water, candles and open flame deserve the ordinary care the pieces describe. Nothing here is medical, dermatological or nutritional advice, and if something you use on your skin or eat disagrees with you, that is a question for a professional and not for this site.
Accuracy
I write carefully and I still get things wrong. Everything here is accurate to the best of my understanding at the moment it was written, and some of it will age, particularly anything about a specific product. Pages carry their last updated date so you can see how old a piece is. If you spot an error, write to hello@littleeverydayluxuries.org.
Copyright
The writing on this site is mine. Quote a paragraph with a link back and no permission is needed. Reproducing a whole piece, or using anything here to train a model or to fill another site, needs asking first. Photographs are licensed from their photographers and are not mine to pass on.
Links out
Links to other sites are there because they were useful at the time. I do not control what happens on them, and a link is not an endorsement of everything on the other end. Some of them are affiliate links, described in the affiliate disclosure.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, I am not liable for any loss or damage arising from something you read here or from something you did after reading it. The site is provided without warranty of any kind, including that it will always be available or always be free of errors.
Governing law
This site is published from the United States, and these terms are read under the law of the United States.
Changes
These terms can change. The last updated date at the top of this page is the honest record of when they last did.
